Local, Global and Diversity of the Hakka

GHAS 將配合 2023 年在臺灣桃園舉行的世界客家博覽會期間，舉辦世界客家研究大會暨全球客家研究聯盟 2023 國際雙年學術研討會，並且自 2022 年起安排國際學術交流系列等相關熱身活動，向各國在地客家社群、社團、研究者宣傳世界客家博覽會。世界客家研究大會暨全球客家研究聯盟 2023 國際雙年學術研討會時間則安排在 2023 年 9 月 22、23 二日。

In conjunction with the 2023 World Hakka Expo, the Consortium of Global Hakka Studies (GHAS) will organize the World Congress of Hakka Studies and 2023 Biennial International Conference of the Consortium of Global Hakka Studies on the theme, “Local, Global and Diversity of the Hakka”. International experts and researchers will convene to discuss the shifting identity of the Hakka community in a global context. This international conference aims to enhance the discourse surrounding Hakka studies at an international level.

世界客家研究大會暨全球客家研究聯盟 2023 國際雙年學術研討會定於 2023年 9 月 22、23 、24日舉行，本國際會議除將邀請 GHAS 國內外成員機構參與發表以外，亦開放國內外相關大學從事客家研究之學者報名發表分享研究成果，此外另邀請五位外國籍國際知名客家研究學者擔任圓桌論壇與談人之一。

He was Visiting Professor at Peking University (2018). He was also Visiting Yip (China) Fellow at Magdalene College, Cambridge University (2017-2018); Visiting Scholar at the Hakka College, National Central University, Taiwan (2017); and Visiting Professor at the Center for Integrated Area Studies, Kyoto University (2010). Professor Wong is a Member of the Board of Governors, Chinese Heritage Centre, Singapore and Council Member of the Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society Member of the Board of Trustees, SEASREP Foundation, and a former Chairman of the UNESCO Southeast Asian Shared-History Textbook Technical Committee.

Douglas Kammen taught in the Department of Political Science at Canterbury University (1998-2000), was a Fulbright Senior Scholar at Universitas Hasanuddin in Makassar (2000-2001), and then taught at the Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosae in Dili (2001-2003).
